Construction Update
The following work will be conducted next week:
- Major construction and commissioning of the new museum building are complete.
- Ground level interiors continue on the east side of the project, north of Wilshire Boulevard.
- Basement and ground level interiors continue on the Spaulding Lot, south of Wilshire Boulevard.
- Grading, concrete paving, and landscaping for new outdoor spaces continue throughout the project.
- The westbound center lane and eastbound center lane in Wilshire Boulevard between Spaulding Avenue and South Stanley Avenue are closed for work in the median. This closure will remain in place through April 2026. Other lanes in both directions will remain open.
